I got my Respiray back in May 2022. I wanted to give it some time before sharing my thoughts, but honestly, after just a month, I was so happy with it that I ended up getting another one for my husband. (We decided to get mine first since I’m at a higher risk for respiratory issues.)

These gadgets have really changed our lives. We can now go shopping, check out art shows, and pretty much do everything except hit up restaurants and theaters. Plus, Respiray has really delivered on its promise — we haven’t caught any respiratory bugs during this period.

The devices keep a charge nicely, and the three fan settings let us tweak it based on how crowded it is. Not too loud either.

If I had to nitpick, I’d say the non-skid material on the shoulder could be a bit thicker, and the adhesive could definitely be better; it started peeling after a couple of months of regular use. But that’s an easy fix, and overall, we’re super happy with our Respirays.

Just wanted to share an update on my earlier review after getting these devices. My husband and I use them constantly - whether we're out shopping, hitting the gym, or traveling - and they feel super comfy, even for long stretches. I'm pretty sensitive to noise, so I was worried about the motor's sound, but honestly, it’s not a problem at all - they’re so quiet that I sometimes have to double-check if I actually turned them on. We’ve taken quite a few long flights this past year and managed to avoid COVID-19, despite the packed airports and the lack of masks on most folks. I’m really glad we got these - purchasing them was one of the smartest choices I’ve ever made, as they’ve really helped us reclaim our lives.

I'm from Portugal and I work in the health and care sector in the UK. Not long ago, I caught Covid while at one of my care placements. Luckily, I'm all better now. The purifier performed well. I felt like it was keeping me safe, especially since I was on a coach packed with folks, most of whom weren’t wearing masks.

I got home to Portugal just fine. I'm really thankful that when I head back to work in the UK, Respiray will keep helping me minimize the risk of infection.

The folks at Respiray are super responsive and really helpful. Even with a 7-hour time gap between Estonia and my place, they got back to me pretty fast with answers to my product questions. There was a hiccup with the delivery, which was totally on the delivery service, but the team at Respiray put in a lot of effort to help me sort it out.

The devices arrived nicely packaged, along with a clear and well-written instruction manual. The guidelines are straightforward; this gadget isn’t tricky at all. We’ve only had them for a couple of weeks, so I can’t comment on how long they last, but they’re simple to operate and comfy to wear. I was a bit worried about the fan noise, but in a place with any background sound, it’s really not a problem. Even when you can hear it, like right before you walk into a shop, it’s pretty quiet and not bothersome—almost like a whisper, really. The delivery was super quick and went off without a hitch.

I had my sister give my Personal Wearable Air Purifier a whirl to see how comfy it was, especially since her cancer affects her chest and neck. She really digs that it doesn’t fog up her glasses like masks tend to do! Even better, she mentioned it was so cozy that she completely forgot she had it on! We also appreciate the nice flow of fresh air without it blasting right in our faces. Plus, being able to see clearly through our glasses and over the short shield is a big win. The sound and vibrations from the blowers are pleasantly low-key. You can't underestimate the need for truly purified air for someone with a weakened immune system! My sister and I are truly thankful for this. It’s a bit tough to share since we’re about 320km apart.

I really dig its sturdy, futuristic look, the protection it offers, and the reassurance it provides - once I turn on my "Respiray", I feel invincible!

"What’s all the hype about?" some might wonder. Let 'em wonder. The reality is, there are almost 250,000 COVID-19 cases weekly in the UK (as of October 10, 2021), yet a lot of folks act like this dangerous virus is a thing of the past. They’re just not seeing it. Terms like "herd mentality" and "cognitive dissonance" sum it up pretty well.

If you hit up a cinema in London - or a theater, for that matter - you’ll notice that hardly anyone is wearing a mask anymore! Among them, you’ll find the anti-vaxxers; how many? Your guess is as good as mine...

If you’re like me and love the movies - or the theater, really - but are anxious about catching something, with "Respiray", that chance is nearly non-existent. It’s as safe as it gets.
